I needed something to keep me busy once school got out and before this baby came, so I decided to make everything for the nursery. How domestic, right? I painted the walls (including the trim...what a pain!) and those shelves. Tyson surprised me with a super comfy glider for mother's day--isn't that thoughtful?! I sewed the window valence, changing pad sheet, and all the bedding; and I used whatever leftovers I had for the wall hangings. I know it's not amazing, but it's fun knowing I tried something new and it didn't cost a fortune! It's funny, the baby's not going to care that his room looks any different, but it was sure good for my nesting instinct...
The baby may not care...but I think it's cute. The next trick is to see it in person :)
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK! I hope everything goes well today...and your nursery is darling, and so is your house, and so are you! Keep us posted on the baby and put pictures up whenever you get a chance!!
